The Hotel
A 6,000-acre coastal property in Northland above Matauri Bay, where the Pacific Ocean stretches to the horizon from every accommodation and the private golf course runs along clifftops 100 meters above the sea. The two-bedroom villa's 25-foot saltwater pool and the lodge's tide-to-table beach dining have become the benchmarks against which other New Zealand lodges are judged.
