Rosewood Mexico City is under development in the Polanco district's Antara complex, steps from Avenida Presidente Masaryk and two of the capital's major museums, positioning the future hotel at the center of one of Latin America's most culturally dense neighborhoods. Sordo Madaleno Arquitectos, one of Mexico's most respected architecture firms, is designing the project.
The finished hotel will offer 133 rooms and 35 suites, alongside an Asaya wellness facility with two pools and eight treatment rooms, a scale calibrated for Polanco's dense, walkable urban setting rather than a sprawling resort footprint. The timeline has moved from earlier announcements before settling on a 2027 target.
Mexico City's luxury hotel scene has grown considerably more sophisticated over the past decade, and a Rosewood address inside Antara, already established as one of Polanco's premier retail and cultural destinations, gives the brand a genuinely central position in a city with no shortage of ambition to match.
