Rosewood Calistoga is under development on 118 forested acres along a ridgeline near downtown Calistoga, at the northern end of Napa Valley, with a January 2027 opening date that has held steady since it was announced in 2025. The project combines Rosewood Calistoga itself, planned for 129 rooms, with Rosewood Residences Calistoga, 20 private villas and 13 home sites for buyers seeking permanent ownership within the estate.

Design carries forward the original vision of architect Ed Tuttle, now being realized by Atelier Marsh, giving the project a genuine architectural lineage rather than a fresh, unrelated concept. More than 20,000 square feet of event space, farm-to-table dining, and a spa round out the planned amenities.

Calistoga has long sat at the quieter, more understated end of Napa Valley's wine country hierarchy, and Rosewood's arrival gives the town a genuinely significant new luxury anchor.
