Rosewood Seoul Brings Kohn Pedersen Fox and Space Copenhagen to Yongsan Park

Rosewood Seoul is under development adjacent to Yongsan Park, on the site of the former United Nations Command headquarters now being transformed into a new urban quarter called Parkside Seoul. Architecture firm Kohn Pedersen Fox designed the landmark tower, while Space Copenhagen is handling interiors, drawing on Seoul's modernist architecture and forward-looking creative culture for the design language.

The finished hotel will offer roughly 250 rooms and suites, among the largest in the city, alongside more than 48,000 square feet dedicated to Rosewood's Asaya wellness concept, treatment rooms, hydrotherapy, a sauna, and an indoor pool. Seven restaurants and bars plus a 19,375-square-foot event space round out the program, giving the property a genuinely comprehensive scale for Rosewood's first entry into Korea.

Seoul's luxury hotel market has grown increasingly sophisticated, and a first Rosewood property built around this level of design pedigree, KPF architecture paired with Space Copenhagen interiors, signals the brand intends to compete immediately at the top of the market when it opens in 2027.
