Rosewood Doha Marks Its First Anniversary With Guest Chefs Noof Al Marri and Janice Wong

Rosewood Doha opened on the Lusail waterfront on July 15, 2025, and marked its first anniversary a year later with a dedicated One-Year Anniversary Stay Experience, bookable for stays throughout July 2026. The hotel's opening year had already delivered serious culinary recognition: restaurant Mila received a Michelin Bib Gourmand, while Koo Madame was named the Michelin Guide's Opening of the Year.

For the anniversary itself, the hotel brought in guest chefs Noof Al Marri and Janice Wong, the latter a two-time Asia's Best Pastry Chef winner and recipient of the 2024 La Liste Pastry Innovation Award. The pair worked across Mila and Butterfly Patisserie, giving the anniversary program a genuinely decorated culinary lineup rather than a routine celebratory menu.

Earning a Bib Gourmand and an Opening of the Year distinction within a single debut year is an unusually strong start for any hotel, and Rosewood Doha's first-anniversary programming suggests the property intends to keep building on that momentum rather than resting on its opening reception.
