Rosewood Courchevel Le Jardin Alpin opened in December 2025, marking the brand's first-ever ski resort and its second property in France. Set in Courchevel's Jardin Alpin district, one of the most prestigious addresses in French skiing, the hotel gives Rosewood a genuine foothold in alpine luxury after years of coastal and urban expansion.

Designer Tristan Auer approached the 51-room property as what the hotel describes as an eclectic chalet, a style that borrows from traditional alpine architecture without becoming a costume version of it. Dining is led by Chef Gioia Baek at SALTO, a restaurant inspired by the cuisine of the Italian Alps, giving the resort a culinary identity distinct from the more classically French mountain restaurants found elsewhere in Courchevel.

For a brand whose portfolio has leaned heavily on cities and beaches, a first ski resort is a genuine expansion of what a Rosewood stay can mean. Opening in Courchevel specifically, rather than a less established alpine address, signals the brand wanted its ski debut to compete immediately at the top of the category rather than easing in gradually.
