Rosewood Miramar Beach in Montecito has built one of the most decorated dining programs on the California coast around Caruso's, which retained both its Michelin Star and Michelin Green Star for a fifth consecutive year at the June 24, 2026 ceremony. Chef-Partner Massimo Falsini and Senior Chef de Cuisine Shibani Mone lead a kitchen that has now sustained top-tier recognition for half a decade.

The awards kept coming. Caruso's won the Wine Spectator Grand Award, placing it among just 99 restaurants worldwide to hold the honor and one of only two new additions for 2026, and separately earned a James Beard Award semifinalist nod for Outstanding Wine and Beverage Program. In July 2025, the restaurant launched Sapore di Stelle, meaning flavor of the stars, a private beachfront dining experience limited to one party per evening.

The resort itself matched Caruso's momentum, earning a Triple Five-Star Forbes Travel Guide rating for the third consecutive year in 2026, a distinction held by only 16 properties globally. Between the restaurant's five-year Michelin streak and the resort's own three-year Forbes run, Rosewood Miramar Beach has built the kind of sustained, layered recognition that few hotels anywhere can match.
