Rosewood Phnom Penh hosted the second edition of Taste of Cambodia, a culinary festival running September 11 through 14, 2025, that brought international culinary talent into direct conversation with Cambodian cuisine. One-Michelin-starred Chef Alexis Moko, of MOKO in Kyoto, cooked a three-course lunch at CUTS restaurant on September 12 and 13, a genuine cross-continental exchange for a festival still in just its second year.

The hotel's bar program has its own recent recognition. Sora, the property's bar, won the Ketel One Sustainable Bar Award 2025 for its eco-mixology practices, a category that's become increasingly competitive as bars across Asia lean into sustainability. Chef Van Dyk oversees the hotel's restaurants more broadly, with Chef de Cuisine Kaewhirom running Iza, the property's izakaya.

Set on the 35th floor with a dedicated gallery space hosting rotating art exhibitions, Rosewood Phnom Penh has built a genuinely multidisciplinary identity, food, art, and sustainability programming all under one roof. For a still-developing luxury hotel market, that range gives the property a distinct edge.
