Rosewood London's Pie Room has been one of the hotel's most photographed corners since it opened alongside the rest of the property in 2013, and its tenth anniversary brought a genuinely playful update. Designer Anya Hindmarch redesigned the space around her signature eye motif, right down to a limited-edition Pie with Eyes keyring, giving one of Holborn's most established pastry counters a distinctly London fashion-world twist.
The anniversary program, branded Rosewood London X, extended into the hotel's restaurants as well. Chef Gaurav, from Rosewood Hong Kong's Michelin-starred CHAAT, brought his modern Indian street-food cooking to Holborn Dining Room for a three-night pop-up, a direct culinary exchange between two of the brand's flagship city hotels on opposite sides of the world.
For a hotel built inside a former Pearl Assurance headquarters, blending Beaux-Arts architecture with contemporary British hospitality, pairing a fashion-world collaboration with a cross-continental chef exchange captures exactly the kind of programming that has kept Rosewood London relevant a decade into its run.
