Overview
The Hotel
An 81-acre hideaway on the Kona coast of the Big Island, rebuilt by Rosewood after the 2011 tsunami and reopened in 2022 with its original thatched-roof hale bungalows reimagined rather than replaced. The ancient fishpond, lava fields, and coconut grove remain; the cooking at Moana Restaurant reflects a genuine engagement with Hawaiian food culture.
