The Hotel
On the Avenue Montaigne, steps from the haute couture houses of Dior and Valentino, the Plaza Athénée has been a Parisian institution since 1913. Its crimson-geranium-draped façade is one of the most photographed in Paris. Inside, Alain Ducasse's dining room holds three Michelin stars and has pioneered a naturalist, waste-free approach to haute cuisine that has reframed French gastronomy.
