The Ritz-Carlton, San Juan reopened after nearly eight years closed, following a reinvestment of more than $150 million to reimagine the beachfront resort. The property had been shuttered since the twin hurricanes of Irma and Maria, and its return marks a significant milestone in Puerto Rico's tourism recovery.
The reimagined resort offers 417 rooms and suites, including a Club Level, along with five restaurants headlined by BLT Steak and Il Mulino New York, a newly unveiled speakeasy, a world-class spa, and a vibrant casino. Set on the sands of Isla Verde near the airport, it combines beachfront ease with easy access to the city.
San Juan has long been one of the Caribbean's most vibrant capitals, and the Ritz-Carlton's return restores a landmark to its Isla Verde shoreline. Its reopening gives the island a renewed luxury anchor.
