Amancaya to Bring Aman to the Bahamas' Exuma Cays

Amancaya is Aman's planned resort and branded residences set across two entirely private cays in the heart of the Exumas, marking the brand's first destination in the Bahamas and its third in the Caribbean. The name means peaceful island in Taíno, the language of the region's earliest inhabitants, and captures the stillness the destination is built around.

The roughly $260 million development is planned for a 36-pavilion resort alongside an exclusive collection of Aman Residences, an Aman Spa, a beach club, and signature dining concepts. Immersed in crystalline waters and white-sand shores, it offers direct access to some of the Caribbean's most exceptional boating and diving.

The Exumas are among the most pristine island chains in the Bahamas, prized for their sandbars and swimming pigs, and an Aman would give them a landmark ultra-luxury address. It is one of the brand's most anticipated Caribbean projects.
