The St. Regis Osaka marked its 15th anniversary in 2025 by relaunching its first-floor French restaurant, formerly Le D'or, as RÉGINE, which opened April 3, 2025. The renovation used the anniversary as a natural moment to reinvent one of the hotel's core dining spaces rather than simply celebrating with a special menu.
RÉGINE is overseen by Ryuta Iizuka, owner-chef of Ryuzu, the two-Michelin-starred Tokyo restaurant in Roppongi, giving the new brasserie serious culinary pedigree from its opening day. The hotel's 12th-floor reception area was also renovated starting in March 2025, preserving its original dazzling prosperity concept alongside newly introduced wabi-sabi elements, and a further bar renovation completed in February 2026.
Additional hotel-wide renovation work is scheduled to run from February through September 2026, continuing the momentum from the anniversary year. Italian restaurant La Veduta, on the 12th floor, rounds out the dining program with seasonal dishes from Chef Michiaki Yoshida, giving the hotel two distinct fine-dining identities fifteen years into its life in Osaka.
