Ocean Club, A Four Seasons Resort, named Bahamian-native chef Lester Dean Executive Chef in 2025, a homecoming of sorts for a chef who spent nearly 16 years at the resort earlier in his career, including time working around DUNE by Jean-Georges. He returns after five years as executive chef at Margaritaville Nassau, bringing both local roots and outside experience to the role.
The resort lined up a summer 2026 dining program built around appearances by Jean-Georges Vongerichten himself, with events scheduled for mid-August, reinforcing the long partnership behind DUNE. The Crescent Wing accommodations and the poolside restaurant Ocean Blu also completed renovations, refreshing key parts of the Paradise Island property.
Set on a former private estate with formal French-inspired gardens and a stretch of Cabbage Beach, Ocean Club has long been the most exclusive address in the Bahamas. A Bahamian executive chef at the helm gives its kitchen a deeper connection to the islands it calls home.
