Ten years ago, Mandarin Oriental, Milan opened inside a converted 15th-century convent in the Quadrilatero d'Oro, and 2025 marked a decade since. To celebrate, two-Michelin-starred chef Antonio Guida of Seta by Antonio Guida created a special anniversary tasting menu, reworking the restaurant's most iconic dishes from across the past ten years into a single, career-spanning meal.
Guida's kitchen has been remarkably stable for a restaurant at this level, a genuine rarity in fine dining. He has worked alongside Executive Sous-Chef Federico Dell'Omarino for more than 20 years, with Pastry Chef Marco Pinna rounding out a team whose continuity shows in a menu built on refinement rather than reinvention for its own sake.
The anniversary gives newcomers a reason to book the hotel specifically for Seta, but it also rewards longtime guests who have followed Guida's cooking since the hotel's 2015 opening. Between the cloister garden setting and a kitchen that has held two Michelin stars consistently, Mandarin Oriental, Milan's tenth year is less a milestone than a confirmation of what the hotel set out to be from the start.
