The Murray Hong Kong, a Niccolo Hotel, occupies one of the city's most admired modernist buildings, a 1969 tower on Cotton Tree Drive whose distinctive recessed arches were designed to shade it from the sun. Its conversion into a hotel preserved the architecture while opening it onto Hong Kong Park and St John's Cathedral, and it is a Leading Hotels of the World Sustainability Leader.

The dining is unusually broad. Popinjays serves Italian on one of Hong Kong's largest rooftop terraces; The Tai Pan and its outdoor Terrace are a French bistro within the famous arches; Garden Lounge pours modern Cantonese and afternoon tea over the gardens; MIÁN explores the eight great regional cuisines of China; and Murray Lane brings New York bar energy to Central.

Architecturally and culinarily, it is one of Hong Kong's most distinctive hotels.
