The St. Regis La Bahia Blanca Resort, Tamuda Bay opened in November 2023, marking St. Regis's debut in Morocco through a development by Eagle Hills near Tétouan. Designer Smallwood built the resort around a private riad-style layout, 83 guestrooms and 17 suites starting at 32 square meters, plus a 1,800-square-foot Presidential Suite, each with a private balcony facing the Mediterranean.

The design leans deliberately on the region's Andalucían cultural legacy, intimate courtyards and gardens that echo the architectural exchange between southern Spain and northern Morocco across centuries. That regional specificity gives the resort a genuinely different character from a generic North African beach resort.

Approaching its third anniversary on Tamuda Bay, The St. Regis La Bahia Blanca Resort has established itself as St. Regis's clearest statement of intent in Morocco, a country whose luxury hospitality scene has typically centered on Marrakech and Casablanca rather than its northern Mediterranean coast.
