Hotel Casa Fuster: A Modernista Landmark on Passeig de Gràcia

Hotel Casa Fuster occupies one of Barcelona's great Modernista buildings, designed in 1908 by Lluís Domènech i Montaner, architect of the Palau de la Música, at the top of the Passeig de Gràcia. A Leading Hotels of the World Sustainability Leader, its restoration turned a landmark of Catalan architecture into a luxury hotel with a rooftop pool over the city.

The dining lives up to the setting. The Aleia Restaurant holds a Michelin star in the noble wing under two-Michelin-star chef Rafa de Bedoya, a bold tasting-menu journey; and the Café Vienés, a Barcelona institution beneath modernist columns and gilded ceilings, serves tapas and casual dining with live jazz.
