The St. Regis Mardavall Mallorca Resort is undergoing a major renovation running through 2028, with 42 of its 125 units set for full refurbishment alongside updates to the Arabella Spa and Kids Club. The resort closed from November 23, 2025 through February 6, 2026 to renovate two of its four building sections, including reception, before reopening for the 2026 season.
New General Manager Giuseppe Losciale, who brings more than 20 years of luxury hospitality experience across Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and Latin America, was introduced to press at the resort's Mar Sea Club in April 2026, taking the helm just as the renovation's next phases get underway. Dining remains anchored by the Michelin-starred Es Fum restaurant, alongside a newly redesigned Terra Restaurant built around island-driven cuisine.
Undertaking a renovation this extensive, phased across multiple years and building sections rather than closing entirely, reflects a resort trying to maintain guest access through a substantial transformation. For Mallorca's competitive luxury resort scene, the multi-year commitment signals real long-term investment rather than a quick refresh.
