IGNIV Bangkok represented a genuinely significant culinary export when it opened, the first restaurant outside Switzerland from chef Andreas Caminada, whose own restaurant, Schloss Schauenstein in Fläsch, holds three Michelin stars. The Bangkok outpost has held its own Michelin Star since first earning it in the Michelin Guide Thailand 2022, a distinction it has maintained through the 2025 guide.

Head chef Arne Riehn leads the day-to-day kitchen at IGNIV Bangkok, built around Caminada's signature sharing concept. Igniv means nest in Romansh, Caminada's native language, and the restaurant's format reflects that idea directly, dishes designed to be shared communally rather than served as conventional individually plated courses.

The hotel has separately debuted a new three-bedroom Penthouse Suite 44 stories up, with a private infinity pool, home theater, and a fully equipped exercise room. Between IGNIV's sustained Michelin recognition and Forbes Travel Guide Four-Star status held every year from 2023 through 2026, The St. Regis Bangkok has built a genuinely consistent case for itself at the top of the city's luxury scene.
