Mandarin Oriental, Singapore's Cherry Garden has relaunched as Cherry Garden by Chef Fei, a direct culinary partnership with the chef behind Jiang, the two-Michelin-starred restaurant at Mandarin Oriental, Guangzhou. The collaboration brings Chef Fei's Cantonese and Teochew, or Chaoshan, expertise to Singapore, with a reimagined menu built around regional Chinese seafood.

Chef Fei, whose full name is Huang Jinghui, has become one of the Mandarin Oriental group's most widely deployed culinary talents across Greater China, and his involvement in Singapore extends that reach into Southeast Asia for the first time. The partnership gives Cherry Garden a level of culinary authority that a standalone hotel kitchen would take years to build independently.

For a city with as competitive a Cantonese dining scene as Singapore's, a direct line to one of Guangzhou's most decorated kitchens gives Mandarin Oriental, Singapore a genuine point of difference. Guests familiar with Jiang's reputation in Guangzhou now have a reason to seek out its Singapore counterpart specifically.
