The St. Regis Kuwait Completes Phase Two of a Three-Phase Renovation

The St. Regis Kuwait has been working through a deliberate, three-phase renovation, with Phase One, a guestroom and suite refresh, completed back in May 2022. Phase Two, announced in February 2025, tackled nearly 23,700 square feet of public space, executed by Havelock One Interiors and remaining fully operational throughout the work.

Design direction from Dubai-based Kristina Zanic Consultants introduced bespoke joinery, floor-to-ceiling decorative metal screens, and herringbone-laid natural marble flooring across the renovated spaces. Al Hambra, the hotel's all-day dining restaurant, came out of the renovation with wooden cladding and a leaf-patterned ceiling, a redesign that gives the space a considerably warmer character than before.

A third phase has not yet been announced with a completion date, but the deliberate, staged approach, keeping the hotel fully open across each phase, reflects a property investing methodically in its long-term position within Kuwait's luxury hotel scene rather than rushing a single disruptive closure.
