The Ritz-Carlton, Tokyo Earns a Michelin Key and Forbes Five Stars

The Ritz-Carlton, Tokyo earned a Michelin Key in 2025 and a Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star award for 2026, reaffirming its place among the capital's leading hotels. Occupying the top nine floors of the 53-story Midtown Tower in Roppongi, the hotel offers 245 rooms with views toward Shinjuku, the Imperial Palace, or, on clear days, Mount Fuji.

A renovation by the design studio Spin refreshed the hotel's spaces, and its dining continues to evolve, most recently with the debut of Nina, a patisserie of refined French sweets reflecting seasonal inspiration. The hotel pairs those additions with an indoor pool, a spa, and a dedicated wellness floor high above the city.
