Four Seasons Turns 65: Every New Opening Defining 2026 and Beyond

Four Seasons opened its first hotel in 1961. Sixty-five years later, the company operates more than 130 hotels and resorts and over 50 residential properties in 47 countries, with more than 60 projects under development, the largest pipeline it has ever had. For anyone who plans travel around great hotels, the next few years read like a wish list. Here is the full map: what has just opened, and what is coming, region by region.

This anniversary year alone brought more than ten new hotels and resorts online: the Danieli in Venice, Four Seasons Hotel Mykonos, Mallorca at Formentor, Rabat, the Red Sea and AMAALA resorts in Saudi Arabia, Mauritius at Anahita, and, across the Atlantic, Cartagena, the Naples Beach Club and Puerto Rico. The Americas pipeline is the deepest, spanning a private island in Belize, two new ski resorts in the Rockies, and reimagined city landmarks from Charleston to Rio.

Europe gains a Berlin landmark; the Middle East and Africa see some of the most singular projects anywhere, from a hotel beside the temples of Luxor to a resort on the beaches of Zanzibar.

The region's pipeline also includes Jeddah at the Corniche (2027), New Cairo Capital at Madinaty (2027), Diriyah (2028) and NEOM at Sindalah (2028), a striking Red Sea island resort. Asia Pacific's additions are urban and beachfront both: a beach resort in Okinawa and towers in two of Asia's most dynamic cities.
