Four Seasons Hotel Tokyo at Marunouchi closed its accommodation floors on July 1, 2025 for a comprehensive redesign by André Fu Studio, built around a contemporary manor concept with a new washi-paneled lobby and tea lounge, and reopened targeting late April 2026. The hotel's dining, spa, and event spaces stayed open throughout, so only the intimate 57-room accommodation was paused.
Its flagship restaurant, SÉZANNE, remains one of the most celebrated in Asia, holding three Michelin stars and ranking number four on Asia's 50 Best and number seven on the World's 50 Best in 2025. The restaurant welcomed a new Executive Chef, Stephen Lancaster, as of April 2026, a significant transition for a kitchen at the very top of the global rankings.
Set directly beside Tokyo Station in the Marunouchi business district, the hotel is small and discreet by design. The André Fu redesign gives its rooms a fresh identity to match the reputation of its restaurant.
