Restaurant Eden-Roc

The Eden-Roc pavilion has been a fixture of the French Riviera's social calendar since the 1950s, dinner here, cut into the cliffside above the Mediterranean, is as much an event as a meal.

The pavilion's white columns and open sides frame the sea from almost every table, and the kitchen leans into classic Riviera dishes done at a high level, bouillabaisse, grilled Mediterranean fish, and a wine list heavy on Provence and Bandol. Dinner here at sunset, with the water turning gold below the cliffs, remains one of the defining meals of the Côte d'Azur.
