Julien by Daniel Boulud, an intimate ten-seat dining concept at Four Seasons Hotel Riyadh at Kingdom Centre, earned three toques in the inaugural Gault&Millau Saudi Arabia guide, the top recognition in the new guide's debut. The hotel's sister venue, Café Boulud Riyadh, earned one toque, giving the celebrated French chef's Riyadh outposts a strong showing.
The culinary recognition followed a $150 million, 18-month renovation of the hotel that blended Saudi heritage motifs with modern design. Occupying the upper floors of the landmark Kingdom Centre tower, with its distinctive arched crown over the Riyadh skyline, the hotel holds one of the most recognizable addresses in the Saudi capital.
As Riyadh's luxury and dining scene expands rapidly, the arrival of formal international ratings raises the stakes for its top hotels. Julien's three toques place the Four Seasons at the front of that conversation.
