Four Seasons Resort Hualalai is celebrating its 30th anniversary in 2026 with a Chef in Residence program that brings marquee names to the Kona-Kohala coast. Chef Edward Lee kicked off the series in February 2026, followed by Chef Tyler Florence hosting Paniolo Dinners in March, giving the resort a year-long culinary throughline for the milestone.

The anniversary follows a completed $100 million resort-wide renovation, one of the most significant investments in the property's history. It added three new villas, including the Hawaii Loa Presidential Villa, a new infinity pool at the natural King's Pond aquarium, and the Kumu Kai Marine Center, while Ulu Ocean Grill was fully renovated in 2025 with a menu that is roughly 75 percent locally sourced and the Beach Tree restaurant completed its own renovation in June 2026.
