Four Seasons Resort Bali at Jimbaran Bay appointed Benjamin Halat as Executive Chef, effective May 1, 2026, bringing more than two decades of European and Asian experience to the resort's kitchens. Halat previously led the culinary team at the Mandarin Oriental Savoy in Zurich, where his team was named Gault&Millau Schweiz Hotel of the Year 2025, giving the resort a chef with genuine top-tier credentials.

He oversees a dining program that spans the oceanfront Sundara, the Balinese heritage restaurant Jala, the all-day Taman Wantilan, and the bar TELU. Set on a gently curving bay on Bali's Bukit Peninsula, with villas terraced down toward the sand, the resort has long been one of the island's most established luxury addresses.

Famous for sunsets over the Indian Ocean and a beach that draws diners from across the island, Jimbaran Bay gives Halat a stage where the setting is already a draw. His arrival is aimed at raising the food to match.
