Capella Ubud is one of designer Bill Bensley's most theatrical creations, a luxury tented camp hidden in the rainforest above the Wos River near Ubud. Each tent is themed around the era of early explorers and settlers, and no trees were felled to build it.

The dining matches the drama. Mads Lange, named for a 19th-century trader, serves the main all-day menu, Api Jiwa stages an intimate fire-based tasting experience, the Mortar and Pestle Bar celebrates Indonesian spices, and Campfire and Keliki Garden bring dining out into the rainforest.
