St. Regis expanded its Shenzhen presence with a second property, The St. Regis Shenzhen Bao'an, officially debuting on February 28, 2025, joining the existing St. Regis Shenzhen in the city's Luohu District. Having two distinct St. Regis addresses in a single Chinese city reflects just how significant Shenzhen has become within the brand's broader growth strategy.
The new tower rises 51 stories with 289 guest rooms and suites overlooking Qianhai Bay, roughly 15 kilometers from Shenzhen Bao'an International Airport, a genuinely convenient location for international arrivals. Hong Kong architect André Fu designed the interiors, bringing his refined, understated aesthetic to a property that also includes the Astor Ballroom and more than 1,000 square meters of event space.
For travelers with Shenzhen on their itinerary, having a second St. Regis option near the airport, distinct from the original Luohu District property, gives the brand genuine coverage across the city's business and travel geography rather than concentrating entirely in one district.
