The St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort, Abu Dhabi Begins a Phased Room Enhancement

The St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort, Abu Dhabi announced a phased guest room and suite enhancement in April 2026, with Phase One running from June 1 through October 15, 2026, and Phase Two planned for 2027. The resort's Adult Pool and Sandcastle Kids' Club also underwent refurbishment from May through July 2026, with the Outdoor Lap Pool temporarily reserved for adults and a temporary Indoor Kids' Activity Area substituting during that window.

Throughout the renovation, the resort has kept its full dining program running across six restaurants, including Buddha-Bar Beach Abu Dhabi, Sophia, The Manhattan Lounge, Café Ginori, and Sontaya, giving guests continuous access to the property's culinary offerings even as its rooms are refreshed in stages.

Note for travelers: this Saadiyat Island property is distinct from The St. Regis Abu Dhabi on the Corniche, a separate hotel elsewhere in the city. Splitting a renovation of this scale across two phases and two years reflects a resort prioritizing continuous guest access over a faster, more disruptive single closure.
