The St. Regis Punta Mita Resort Completes a $45 Million Renovation for Its 15th Anniversary

The St. Regis Punta Mita Resort marked its 15th anniversary with a $45 million property-wide renovation, a genuinely comprehensive reinvestment that added five new beachfront villas, redesigned suites, and an enhanced St. Regis Spa. The new Marietas Pool and upgraded wedding venues rounded out a renovation built to carry the resort into its next decade and a half.

Dining underwent its own transformation, with six refreshed culinary offerings debuting February 3, 2025 under Executive Chef Pablo Arias and newly appointed F&B Director Rodrigo García Fernández. Alongside the new concepts, the resort launched a Culinary Collection series, bringing visiting Michelin-starred chefs into the resort's kitchens on a rotating basis.

Fifteen years in, Punta Mita has remained one of Mexico's defining luxury beach addresses, and this renovation, spanning accommodations, wellness, event spaces, and dining all at once, gives the resort a genuinely fresh foundation rather than a piecemeal update.
