Rocco Forte House, Via Manzoni marked the second location for the group's residential concept, eleven private apartments inside a 19th-century building at Via Manzoni 46, right in the heart of Milan's Quadrilatero shopping district. London-based designers Paolo Moschino and Philip Vergeylen worked alongside Rocco Forte director of design Olga Polizzi on the interiors, layering in lacquered wall accents, upscale Italian fabrics, bespoke furniture, Poliform kitchens, and Venetian glass lighting throughout the apartments.

The format is meaningfully different from a conventional hotel stay. Guests get the privacy and space of an apartment, with kitchens fully equipped for entertaining, while still drawing on the wider Rocco Forte network for services like private chefs and dog walkers when needed. It's a model built for longer stays and repeat visitors who already know Milan and want a base that feels more like a residence than a room.

The building's fifth-floor rooftop opens each year for the warm season, giving residents an outdoor space with views over the surrounding Quadrilatero rooftops. With The Carlton opening nearby in November 2025, Rocco Forte now has a genuinely layered presence in this single stretch of central Milan, spanning full hotel service and this more residential alternative just steps away.
