The Ritz-Carlton, New Orleans Renovates Its Maison Orleans Club

The Ritz-Carlton, New Orleans completed a $15 million renovation of its 76 Maison Orleans Club guest rooms, suites, and lounge, with Joanna Kerr Design leading a refresh that pays homage to the city's heritage. The work capped a multiyear refurbishment of the 527-room hotel that also updated its 25,000-square-foot spa.

Housed in a Beaux-Arts former department store on Canal Street at the edge of the French Quarter, the hotel offers farm-to-table Louisiana cuisine at M Bistro and cocktails accompanied by live jazz at the Davenport Lounge. The property was acquired by the developer Gencom in March 2025, adding it to a growing luxury portfolio.

New Orleans is one of America's most singular cities, and the Ritz-Carlton pairs its French Quarter setting with a genuine sense of place. The Maison Orleans renovation elevates its top tier of accommodation.
