The Ritz-Carlton, Lake Tahoe Completes a Two-Year Property-Wide Renovation

The Ritz-Carlton, Lake Tahoe completed a comprehensive two-year renovation, welcoming guests back to its reimagined spaces in May 2025. The project upgraded all 170 guest rooms and suites with panoramic windows framing the forest and slopes, and refreshed the resort's dining, public spaces, and wellness areas.

Among the additions, the restaurant Manzanita reopened with a menu built around organic, locally grown produce, and the resort introduced two Topgolf Swing Suites with private sports simulators. The fitness center was updated with new equipment, and the lakefront Lake Club reopened for summer with beach access, paddle boards, and boat rentals.

Set mid-mountain at Northstar on Lake Tahoe's north shore, the resort is one of the few true ski-in, ski-out luxury properties in the region and a year-round mountain base. The renovation brings its accommodations in line with its alpine setting.
