Palazzo Sirignano: Rocco Forte's First Naples Hotel Opens in 2027

Palazzo Sirignano will become Rocco Forte's first hotel in Naples when it opens in 2027, following a management agreement between Rocco Forte Hotels and fashion company Capri Group. The palazzo itself dates back to 1535, making it one of the earliest noble buildings in the area, with a history that includes the Bourbon dynasty, which ruled Naples for close to a century, and the Prince of Sirignano himself.

Architect Michele Bönan is leading the restoration, working to bring the building back to its original grandeur while adapting it for 46 spacious suites, two restaurants, a bar, generous private gardens, and a large spa. The rooftop pool may end up being the property's signature feature: the views reportedly reach as far as Capri on a clear day, a genuinely rare vantage point for a city hotel anywhere in Italy.

The Colella family, who own fashion brands Gutteridge and Alcott, acquired the palazzo in 2018 with the explicit goal of giving Naples a hotel that matches the individuality and character of the city itself, rather than importing a generic luxury template. Pairing that ambition with Rocco Forte's operational experience and Bönan's restoration work gives Palazzo Sirignano a genuinely strong foundation heading into its 2027 debut.
