Montage Cay: The Brand's First Private Island Resort Nears Its Bahamas Debut

Montage Cay marks the brand's first private-island resort, occupying a 53-acre cay in the Bahamas' Abacos near Marsh Harbour, and is slated to open in 2026. The resort is built around 50 all-suite accommodations, including a collection of overwater bungalows, ringed by seven white-sand beaches and a 47-slip deep-water marina.

The island also carries a residential component, with Montage Residences built into private beachfront enclaves and a final collection of Shore Cottages, each around 3,200 square feet, rounding out the offering ahead of the resort's full opening. It is the most ambitious ground-up project in Montage's current pipeline.
