How to Book Aman Tokyo: Suites, Dining, and an Advisor's Guide

October 2026 · 7 min read

Aman Tokyo occupies the top six floors of a tower in Otemachi, the city's financial heart, a few minutes from the Imperial Palace, Marunouchi and Tokyo Station. The location is deliberate. Guests arrive at street level into the rush of the capital and ascend into a space of calm proportion and natural material, where floor-to-ceiling windows frame the city, Mount Fuji on a clear day, and the green of the palace grounds below. It is a hotel that rewards both the first-time visitor and the seasoned Japan traveller who thought they had seen everything the city could offer.

Accommodation begins with the Aman Tokyo Room and rises through the Corner Suite, the Junior Suite and the one-bedroom suites to the vast Aman Suite, which at 157 square metres is among the largest hotel suites in the city. Every room is generous by Tokyo standards, screened in shoji that soften the daylight, and finished with a furo soaking tub set beside the window so the bath looks out over the skyline. The effect is residential rather than corporate, a private apartment in the sky rather than a conventional hotel room.

Dining is a destination in itself. Musashi by Aman is an intimate Edomae sushi counter where a single chef serves a seasonal omakase to a handful of guests at a time, among the most sought-after reservations in the hotel. Arva brings Aman's signature Italian concept to Tokyo with handmade pasta and a long Mediterranean wine list, and The Café by Aman, set among greenery on the lobby level, serves a lighter all-day menu. We can arrange the Musashi counter as part of your stay, which is far easier to secure in advance than on arrival.

The Aman Spa spans two floors and more than 2,500 square metres, with a 30-metre indoor pool lined in stone, private treatment houses, and an onsen fed in the traditional manner, the highest in Tokyo. A morning swim above the city, a soak at dusk as the lights come on, and a treatment drawn from both Japanese and Aman wellness traditions make the spa reason enough to stay an extra night.
