Four Seasons Hotel Xi'an to Overlook the City's Ancient Heritage

Four Seasons Hotel Xi'an is a planned hotel of around 250 rooms and suites, announced in 2022 in partnership with Spring Garden Company Limited, a subsidiary of the Vanzhong Group. No firm status update has emerged beyond the original announcement, so its opening year should be treated as provisional.

The design envisions two restaurants, a lobby bar, and a rooftop bar overlooking the Muta Temple Relics Park, with the Tang Dynasty Wall Relics Park nearby. That setting ties the hotel directly to Xi'an's extraordinary history as the ancient capital of multiple Chinese dynasties and the eastern terminus of the Silk Road.

Xi'an, home to the Terracotta Army, draws travelers from around the world, yet its luxury hotel scene has room to grow. A Four Seasons anchored to the city's heritage would be a notable addition.
