Four Seasons Resort Seychelles at Desroches Island unveiled a new five-bedroom Royal Villa, the resort's most expansive accommodation, on one of the most remote islands in the Seychelles' Outer Amirantes. Reachable only by a short flight from Mahé, Desroches offers 14 kilometers of beach and a genuine sense of isolation that the new villa is built to take full advantage of.
The resort also opened a Petite Anse Spa Retreat and welcomed wellness expert Raaj Nair for a residency, deepening a wellbeing program that suits the island's slow, off-grid rhythm. The property was recognized among Travel + Leisure readers' favourite hotels and resorts in Africa and ranked highly among the top resorts in the Indian Ocean in Condé Nast Traveler's Readers' Choice Awards.
Home to an Aldabra tortoise sanctuary and farm-to-fork dining drawn from its own gardens, Desroches is one of the few resorts where the setting itself is the main event. The Royal Villa gives multigenerational groups a way to have the island almost to themselves.
