Four Seasons Safari Lodge Serengeti Completes a Full Room Renovation

Four Seasons Safari Lodge Serengeti completed a renovation of all 72 guest rooms and five villas, introducing a Maasai-inspired design that ties the lodge more closely to its setting in the heart of Tanzania's Serengeti National Park. Perched above a watering hole where elephants and other wildlife gather, the lodge occupies one of the most extraordinary positions in African safari travel.

The work extended well beyond the rooms. The lodge added the steakhouse Nuru, switched on what it describes as Tanzania's largest solar farm, and replaced its natural thatching with an eco-conscious synthetic material, reflecting a genuine sustainability push rather than a cosmetic one. For 2026, it introduced new evening experiences including an Under The Stars bush cinema and the return of its Sundowner barbecue.

Set within a UNESCO World Heritage landscape famous for the Great Migration, the lodge pairs big-game immersion with the comforts of a full resort. The renovation and the new solar capacity keep it current on both fronts.
