Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Kuda Huraa Completes a Multi-Year Regeneration

Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Kuda Huraa completed a multi-year regeneration project that reworked its accommodations from the ground up. The reimagined Beach Villas with Pool replace the resort's former beach bungalows, expanding interior living space to 70 square meters and outdoor areas to 285 square meters, each with a new 36 square meter pool.

The project also debuted a three-bedroom Kuda Estate, up from its previous two-bedroom format, able to sleep up to six adults and three children and built with local materials including coral-inspired screens and sustainable wood. The additions give the resort more room for the multigenerational families that make up a growing share of Maldives travel.

Set on its own island in the North Malé Atoll, a short speedboat ride from the airport, Kuda Huraa pairs an accessible location with a full surf break and marine program. The regeneration modernizes the villas without losing the relaxed, island-village character that has long defined the resort.
