Four Seasons Hotel Firenze landed at No. 9 in The World's 50 Best Hotels 2025, a genuinely significant placement for a hotel competing against the world's most decorated addresses. The ranking followed a renovation of the historic Palazzo del Nero, one of the two Renaissance palazzi that make up the property, which reopened in 2025 with 36 redesigned rooms and suites.
The renovation brought two new dining venues. Onde, a seafood osteria, recently marked its first anniversary, while Bar Berni, a vermouth-focused cocktail bar, gave the hotel a distinctly Florentine take on the aperitivo hour. The hotel's Michelin-starred restaurant, Il Palagio, remains the culinary flagship, with chefs Paolo Lavezzini and Mariano Dileo representing the property at Four Seasons' Italian Collection culinary events.
Set within the walls of a former convent garden in the heart of Florence, the hotel has spent years building toward this kind of global recognition, and the Palazzo del Nero renovation gave it fresh momentum right as the World's 50 Best list took notice.
