Four Seasons Hotel Diriyah to Rise Beside a UNESCO World Heritage Site

Four Seasons Hotel Diriyah is an $827 million project planned for 159 rooms plus private residences, adjacent to the At-Turaif UNESCO World Heritage District on the edge of Riyadh. The property is targeting a 2028 opening, so it remains a long-range development rather than a near-term arrival.

The architecture, by Aedas and Elastic Architects, will draw on the traditional Najdi style of the region, in keeping with its extraordinary setting. At-Turaif, inscribed by UNESCO in 2010, was the former capital of the First Saudi State from the 18th to early 19th centuries, giving the hotel a rare cultural and historical foundation.

Diriyah is being developed as one of Saudi Arabia's flagship heritage and tourism destinations, and a Four Seasons beside At-Turaif would place guests at the heart of that story. It is among the most historically significant projects in the brand's pipeline.
