Danieli, Venezia, A Four Seasons Hotel, Reopens on the Venetian Waterfront

Danieli, Venezia, A Four Seasons Hotel, reopened on July 30, 2026 after an extensive renovation of one of the most storied hotels in the world, operating on the Venetian waterfront since 1822. The relaunch brings the landmark under the Four Seasons name with interiors led by Pierre-Yves Rochon, a designer whose work recurs across the brand's most historic European properties.

The hotel opens with 120 rooms and suites, expanding to 168 once the restoration of the adjoining Palazzo Danieli Excelsior completes in 2027. Executive Chef Adriano Rausa, formerly of W Rome, leads the rooftop restaurant Terrazza Danieli with contemporary Italian and Venetian cuisine and lagoon views, while a dedicated Danieli Spa is slated to follow later in 2026.

Overlooking the Riva degli Schiavoni near St. Mark's Square, the Danieli has hosted writers, royalty, and artists for two centuries. Its reopening as a Four Seasons is among the most significant luxury hotel events in Europe this year.
