Cheval Blanc Seychelles: Inside LVMH's Sixth Maison

Cheval Blanc is a collection that grows slowly and deliberately, so a new Maison is an event. Cheval Blanc Seychelles is the sixth, and the most expansive yet: 52 villas set across 22 hectares of jungle and beach on the wild, protected crescent of Anse Intendance, on the south coast of Mahé.

Designed by Jean-Michel Gathy, the architect behind Cheval Blanc Randheli, the Maison threads between dense green hillside and the turquoise of one of the island's most beautiful and least developed bays. Villas come in several worlds: Beach Villas in a contemporary creole idiom facing the sand, Jungle Hill Villas perched in the greenery, and Panorama Hill Villas and the Villa Horizon looking out over the whole sweep of Anse Intendance. Each comes with a dedicated Ambassadeur to tailor the stay.

Dining spans five venues, led by the French gastronomic restaurant Le 1947, the signature of the collection. Le Mizumi brings a modern Japanese experience, while Sula pays tribute to Mediterranean cooking and Creole specialities, grounding the Maison in its island home. The result is range enough to stay a week without repeating a table.
