Cheval Blanc Paris was named an official Palace hotel by Atout France in 2026, one of six new additions to the country's most exclusive hotel classification and one of three in Paris alongside the Bulgari Hôtel Paris and Fouquet's. The label recognizes a small number of hotels nationwide for exceptional architecture, service, and heritage.
The distinction lands on top of the hotel's existing Michelin recognition, with Arnaud Donckele's three-star Plénitude and the one-star Hakuba both operating inside the former Samaritaine department store building overlooking the Seine. World Travel Awards separately named it France's Leading Luxury City Hotel for 2025.
