My Favorite Swim-Up Bar of the Year & Best Luxury Swim-Up Bars I want to Visit!

One of the most beautiful ocean/sunset backdrop to a swim-up bar that I’ve experienced. Let me know if I’m missing another amazing one?

I want to not only talk about but show you how amazing this swim-up bar was at my recent trip to Casa de La Playa in Playa del Carmen, Mexico. Not only was it perfectly calm and beautiful in the morning at breakfast, but just as if not more beautiful, as the day goes on. Swimming in the pool during the day to keep cool from the sun and swimming right up to the bar- nothing better. Then, as the day goes on and sun starts to god down, the sunset backdrop to the bar provides a great place to grab a drink before you head up to your room (or somewhere to stop before your dinner reservation.) One con was that the bar closes at 7PM and it would’ve been nice to use it for a late night swim. The architecture, the beach-y lamps, the ocean backdrop, the seating, and most of all, the bartenders and service - this has to be one of my favorite swim-up bars yet. I’m always on the hunt for a good one so please let me know you absolute favorite that I need to try next!
